Date Notifications: Add Date Notification

The Date Notifications: Add Date Notification page allows you to create new Date Notifications with the following options:

  • Name. This is the name of the Date Notification.
  • Date Field Label. This could be a date on the document or it could be a date relating to the execution of the document.
  • Notification Group Field Label. This is the text of a field label that will show up at the bottom of the Content Check In page. It identifies a drop-down menu containing all the Notification Groups in the system. In the Content Check In page, you can select one Notification Group to receive the notification.
  • Notify Time Field Label. This is the text of a field label that will show up at the bottom of the Content Check In page. It identifies a date field. The date you select for this field is the date on which your notification will be sent to the selected Notification Group.

Once you’ve created a Date Notification here, it has to be associated with a Content Type and Subtype. Once it has been associated, it will show up on the Content Check In page whenever the appropriate Content Type and Subtype are selected.
